Health and Occupational Safety Supervisor Program

Occupational Safety and Health (OSD) or Work Health and Safety (WHS) are a group of laws existing to protect the human factor from injuries that may happen due to the hazards of the work environment, which may threaten the workers while executing their jobs.

This program aims to provide the students with the systems, practices, and programs of occupational health and safety for public fields. The students will learn how to evaluate, plan, develop these programs, and apply them in the work location.

The program content includes the different kinds of accidents and hazards that may impact workers and lists the most important laws and conditions related to occupational health and safety, prevention, and protection methods. Besides, the program content explains the concepts of work accidents, their types, injuries, injury types, protection methods, and the occupational health and safety conditions in a work environment.

Program Outcomes

You will learn about the major three Occupational health and safety accreditations: NEBOSH, IOSH, and OSHA.

You will receive a local certificate issued by the Professional Global for Managing Educational Projects (PGMEP) explaining the practical part of the program.

You will have the opportunity to become internationally accredited by the International Association for Health Occupational Safety and the Environment (IAOSHE).

You can become internationally accredited by the American Management Institute (AMI), the American Institute of Healthcare and Hospital Management (AIHC), the American Society of Professional Engineers (ASPE), or the United States Industrial Accreditation (USIA).

  4. Enable participants to apply the record-keeping required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to maintain efficient record-keeping at work locations.
  5. Enable participants to differentiate between workers’ rights and their responsibilities according to the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
