Professional Global PGMEP Participates in the Second Electrical Engineers Forum Under the Patronage of the Palestinian Prime Minister

Professional Global PGMEP participated in the Second Electrical Engineers Forum, held over two days under the patronage of the Palestinian Prime Minister, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, and represented by the Minister of Local Government, Dr. Sami Hijjawi. The forum addressed several key developments and critical topics related to the energy and electricity sectors.

The second day of the forum featured three panel sessions, starting with a welcome speech delivered by Eng. Mohammad Zahran Hassouna, President of the Association of Electrical Engineers. This was followed by a special presentation on the current situation in Gaza, along with a video showcasing the achievements and works of participating exhibitors.

In the first session, which focused on “Financial Securities and Digital Currencies”, Professional Global PGMEP was represented by Mr. Ahmed Talal, Head of the Financial Crimes Department, and Mr. Alaa Mualla, Digital Currency Expert and a member of the International Network for Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authorities, as well as a member of the International Chamber of Commerce.

Key recommendations from the session included:

Promoting the use of electronic payment applications and tools provided by financial institutions licensed by the Palestinian Monetary Authority for settling bills and obligations.
Raising awareness among consumers and stakeholders in the electricity sector about the importance of using electronic payment methods to fulfill their commitments.
Encouraging investment in renewable energy projects through financing opportunities offered by the “Istidama Plus Fund” launched by the Palestinian Monetary Authority.
Organizing workshops and training sessions on e-commerce and digital currencies.
The second session focused on “Laws and Regulations Governing the Electricity Sector”, while the third session addressed “Investment in the Solar Energy Sector”.

The forum concluded with participants emphasizing the need for enhanced cooperation between various sectors to support renewable energy projects and develop infrastructure for the electricity sector, meeting both current and future demands.
